Connectedness: Our Key to Peak Performance M.A.G.I.C.

Leaders who encourage connectedness and peak performance, creates a corporate culture and an individual sense of well being,  customer satisfaction, engagement.

Peak Performance has its own M.A.G.I.C.
  • motivation and meaning that transcends the current state, a sense of belonging and being a part of something of value.
  • availability and accountability what is the action that makes a difference?  You are accountability to being part of the solution to a challenge, one to another, that, you both value a professional relationship enough to show up, communicate through opportunities or issues to recognize the value of shared vision, and changing to respond to new business or personal needs.
  • growth and gains  professional growth comes from a decision to be and bring our best selves to the task at hand.  peak performance comes from transparent discussions on what is the vision and how do we partner to recognize gains in productivity, engagement, results, benefits, and revenue
  • inspiration and innovation comes from talking more about the compelling reason for change, the desire able outcome, and what it will take to get there, and LESS time spent avoiding conversations that support the vision.  Sometimes we will define so much what we are "not" that we fail to articulate what we are.  Inspiration comes from a base of strength and vision toward the shared future.
  • connectedness and conversation. The worst thing you can say to a peak performer is nothing. Managing change requires finding the courage, the connected conversations, to talk about whats really happening.  One on one, and in teams, always be creating the strive for vision, encouragement comes from clarity.   It is human nature for peak performers to want to be part of something of meaning.  When they are not understanding where they fit, or  how their strengths will evolve, peak performers trust that if not here, it means there is something bigger coming by leaving.
ts human nature, built to be our best selves, our connectedness, one to the other instills a sense of wellness.  Being a student, a leader, a helper and an encourager produces a positive sense of community-- from simply talking about who we are, what we are working on, and how WE can make a difference.

Conversely feelings of overwhelm instills a sense of unwellness, uncertainty, career stagnancy, and desperation. Isolation to "avoid risk or mistakes", setting in motion a downward spiral with adverse affects on  productivity.  With balance of motivation and connectivity, it is easy to accept the hard times and find the resilience to improve, restore activity.  Networking within a best practices community can create ideas for adjustment, improvement, and remediation.  Restoring a general sense of well being through hard times and good.

It easy easy to assume the problem is personal weakness on the person who is overwhelmed.  Employee engagement is bigger than personal fault, for companies who expect employees to align to unspoken direction.  A sense of wellness is part employee and big part orf company culture.  American Psychological Association found that Employee Distrust is Pervasive in the US Workforce:
  • Employees who feel valued are 92% more likely to deliver peak performance compared to the 29% who do not- this translates into accountability, active recommendations, excellent service, and productivity.
  • 1 in 3 report their employer is not always available, honest and truthful with them about how they fit in the organization and how they are performing.
